The Lord has given our church the opportunity to collaborate with many lay ministers and missionaries in Ukraine and beyond. Like people in the book of Acts, the paths of the lay ministers cross as they fellowship with one another and support each other in fulfilling the task entrusted to them by God. Among the many lay ministers there are those who we consider our missionaries sent out by our church serving on the mission field.
We ask you to please pray for them, take an interest in the ministry of these people and support them - because we as a church desire to be part of their life and ministry.

Pastor’s Vision for Missions
The joy of salvation is something that you really want to share. Having experienced His love personally it follows logically to share Christ’s love with others.
Every believer can - and even must - be a witness of Jesus Christ. (1 Cor. 12:7-11).
The born-again person is burdened for unsaved souls and is striving to manifest the light of Jesus and seeking ways to reach out to his/her neighbors with the gift of His salvation. Some spread the Gospel through conversations with neighbors or colleagues, some share with a microphone from the stage or on the radio, some people do it by just helping to set up and plug in that microphone or print our Christian books, which teach people about the way of salvation. Each of these ways we call “bringing the Good News to the world”.
However, there are people, who are called by God into committed ministry for carrying on God’s specific plans for reaching out to souls. In order to carry this task out properly God is calling them to follow Him further and further: a change of job, place of residence, way of life, and life priorities. These people are missionaries.
In Calvary Chapel, we pray that God will call people onto the mission field. We believe that we as a church should equip such people among us. In the body of Christ there are always those whom the Lord wants to send to win souls for His Kingdom. Our task is to discern and support such people. It’s an honor and privilege to fulfill God’s vision for missions. Moreover it’s a privilege for both the missionary (God Himself appoints a person to be His instrument) and the church, who recognizes this person to be chosen and led by God.
In order to be a witness to this world the missionary seeks God and strives to fulfill His will. It’s important for a missionary on the mission field to remain a part of the sending church and be responsible to Jesus and the church. The church that is sending a missionary is a God-ordained tool for the missionary’s support.
Calvary Chapel aims to send those who heard the voice of the Holy Spirit onto the mission field (Acts. 13: 1-3). In this we desire to follow after the example of the first apostolic church. Hearing God’s confirmation, we entrust these people to God, but constantly keep in touch with them and are ready to support them and their ministry. We consider it an honor to support missionaries sent out by our church.
On our web-site you can find the stories of our missionaries, how God called them to the mission field and what ministries they are involved in. These people are part of our spiritual family. We support them and pray for them.
Let us remember that the best way that we as a church can participate in the ministry and life of our missionaries is through prayer for them. (Col.4:3, 2 Thes.3:1). In this way the fruit of the ministry of a missionary becomes the fruit of God’s work through His church.
